Interchange Artist Grant is a program built and funded by those who desire to see the art community of the Midwest strengthened. Often, artistry programming focuses on the coasts, and artists creating extraordinary art in the Midwest are left unnoticed. Interchange will provide 16 artists a grant to create art centered around social impact. “Interchange” plays off of the Midwest being the intersection of art in the country and of the country itself. The logo illustrates this idea by creating an “X” that marks the intersection of the logo within itself. The brand language uses double meanings such as “Start Here” which call out “Art” to signify the central concept in Interchange’s mission.
